Top 15 weight loss tips
- Balance your diet
The first thing you need to do is to categorize food. You need all nutrients. If you eat only certain food groups or certain macronutrients for a long period of time (for example, many protein and less carbohydrates) we can’t say it’s a proper and balanced diet.
- Eat more veggies
Vegetables are rich in minerals and vitamins - everyone knows it, but so many of us underestimate this fact! Micronutrients are vital to the health of the body. Most vegetables contain fiber. Fiber aids in digestion and elimination of toxins and metabolic waste in the body. I advise you to eat vegetables at least 2-3 times a day.
- Have a rich breakfast
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but most people did not pay attention. If you do not supply the right nutrients for the body at breakfast, you will feel tired during the day. Don’t "eat" just a cup of coffee, or tea. This IS NOT BREAKFAST! Be sure to include protein: some eggs, milk or cottage cheese is a good start to your day.
- Have a light lunch
The light lunch is important for your eating plan. If you had a good breakfast you should not feel hungry anyway. I recommend to eat salad with a little meat.
- Don’t eat before bedtime
I’m not even going to comment on that point. Eating before bedtime is contraindicated due to hundreds of reasons I’ve talked about in other articles.
- Eat food rich in protein
Proteins are macronutrients that best support the process of burning fat. Eat foods like eggs, fish, chicken, beef, turkey, quinoa and others.
- Add seafood and fish in your diet.
Try to eat fish or seafood twice a week. Fatty fish contain omega-3 fatty acids that reduce the risk of heart attack and help burn fat.
- Eat multigrain bread.
Multigrain bread has more fiber than white bread. Fiber is important for the release of toxins from your body.
- Avoid refined fats.
Hydrogenated vegetable oils are well-known for their high calorific value, but this is the least of their problems because they are pro-inflammatory and increase the risk of diabetes, heart disease and others. Especially dangerous if they undergo heat treatment.
- Avoid refined white sugar.
Strictly control the intake of sugar and dangerous sweeteners such as Acesulfame K, sucralose and fructose-glucose syrup. They have zero nutritional value and too many empty calories.
- Be physically active
Those of you who play sports and are being active every day, will enjoy better health and optimal weight. Physical activity is a necessary component of any program to reduce body fat.
- Avoid junk food.
Always try to avoid junk food like pizza, burgers, fries and more. These foods do not contribute in any way to your healthy diet, but only lead to health problems and obesity.
- Do not overfeed
If you take an excessive amount of food per meal, your stomach will swell and lead to expansion of the stomach, thus increasing appetite.
- Do strength exercises
Strength exercises will help fat burning and clearing toxins from the body while you raise your tone and develop your skeletal muscles.
- Don’t experiment with your health
If you can afford it, use the services of a specialist. Do not follow diets that you found on the Internet because they are not built for your own body type and metabolism. If you need help, please contact me here!
